Questions from an expat

Now for the first of several question from ex-pat Roy Netherton, now living in Canada.

Roy, who is visiting this month, would like to know if anyone can recall the airship R101 flying over in the early 1930's.

Roy also asks if anyone stood and watched the newfangled' clothes dryer being displayed by Burtols in St Peter's Street, near to Jarvis' radio shop who apparently displayed the first TV in the city.
