Hunt for history of Clarence Park
By

A QUERY from Clarence Road resident Francis Martin who is researching the history of Clarence Park.

He would like to find out more about a visit paid by King George VI and the rest of the Royal Family to the park to inspect the Royal Highland Regiment prior to them disembarking for D-Day.

Can anyone else shed any light on this visit? Are there any photographs marking the occasion?
