It may have been raining on Sunday but that did not dampen the spirit of runners taking part in the London Marathon. Angela Knight and Lucy Waterlow report on the remarkable efforts of three local runners BOOKKEEPER Shirley Martin raised a whopping £5,700 for Leukaemia Research when she joined thousands of runners in the Flora London Marathon on Sunday.
