"I wonder if anyone has memories of theAbbey Camp, where many people lived during the early 1950s in Nissen Huts, while waiting to be re-housed in Council accommodation," asks regular correspondent Lindsey Seagrim-Trinder. "Abbey Camp was situated in the area which is now the Westminster Lodge Sports complex, and I went there on a number of occasions while a pupil at the Abbey Primary School.
